Following on the success of last year’s campaign to assist leading International Public Sector Organisations to recruit exceptional persons with disabilities, Global Careers is teaming up once again with multiple organisations such as International Organization for Migration (IOM), EU Careers, IFC (World Bank Group) and many more to organise a uniquely focus recruitment event for persons with disabilities around the world. 

You can join this exciting online event from the comfort of your home or office. Just use your web browser and internet connection and you can engage with international employers – enabling you to explore a wealth of careers opportunities.

Essential Criteria to access the event:

  • Do you have more than 2 years of work experience (Excluding internships)?
  • Do you hold a Bachelors’ Degree as a minimum?
  • Do you have language skills? (Please note that candidates must be proficient in English and have at least a working knowledge of one other official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish).)
  • Are you motivated to work for an International Public Sector organisation or are considering returning to the sector?

Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organisation in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners.

IFC—a sister organization of the World Bank and member of the World Bank Group—is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries. The Bank Group has set two goals for the world to achieve by 2030: end extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity in every country.

 

 

 

EPSO’s role is to serve the EU institutions by providing high quality, efficient and effective selection procedures that enable them to recruit the right person, for the right job, at the right time.

EPSO is an interinstitutional office responsible for selecting staff to work for all institutions and agencies of the European Union including the European Parliament, the Council, the European Commission, the Court of Justice, the Court of Auditors, the European External Action Service, the Economic and Social Committee, the Committee of the Regions, the European Data Protection Supervisor and the European Ombudsman. Each institution recruits staff from among the pool of successful candidates provided by EPSO.

Xavier Orellana will interview Milica Trpevska about her experience working at IOM as a disability inclusion activist.

Milica Trpevska  is a disability inclusion activist, human rights advocate, accessibility evangelist. Milica is IOM Project Specialist seconded to the ‘Migration, Asylum, Refugees Regional Initiative’ in Skopje, North Macedonia. Since November 2017, Milica has spearheaded the development of an innovative regional remote interpretation service, supporting Western Balkan authorities to effectively communicate with migrants. Milica will speak about her life mission and her motivation to promote IOM as an inclusive workplace.
