It’s less than a week to go until the Global Careers Fair takes place on the 24th March (9:00am – 9:00pm GMT), so are ready to find your new career in the International Public Sector? We understand that preparing for an event such as the Global Careers Fair can be a daunting task, but it’s always better to be completely prepared and ready to make a good impression to recruiters, rather than being lost and baffled on the day. In order to ensure that you’re fully prepared, we’ve created a short checklist of key tasks that will help make sure you’re ready to go on the day. – Register for the Global Careers Fair We know that this is a fairly obvious point, however this is a key step you need to take in order to attend the Global Careers Fair. You can still sign up for the Fair here. – Ensure all your details are complete When you register for the Global Careers Fair, you will be required to fill out a few details about yourself, your work experience and qualifications. It’s also crucial that you upload your CV to your profile as this allows recruiters to fully view your qualities as a candidate. – Do your research Take a look at what organisations are attending the Global Careers Fair, as well as what job opportunities are on offer. If you’re planning on applying for a job or speaking to a representative, it’s always worth conducting some background research into the organisation, as well as familiarising yourself with what qualities are needed for the job at hand. If you have any questions, be sure to check out the supporting information, brochures and videos available in the organisation’s booth. – Attend! Again, we know that this is a fairly obvious point, but by attending the Global Careers Fair on the 24th March, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with top recruiters and representatives from organisations within the International Public Sector! |
