Global Careers has teamed up once again with major international organisations to host Global Careers for Women Spring Event on 14 March 2019
NATO, UNHCR, OSCE, IDB, UNOPS and ECB are amongst those organisations at the forefront of global efforts aimed at achieving gender parity in employment, and despite the advancements that women have experienced in the last 100 years, gender parity is yet to be achieved.
The fact that women are still seriously underrepresented at a senior management level is still an imperative concern. It is at this level that the presence of more women can radically change cultural attitudes, internal practices and ways of working, that otherwise make achieving gender parity more difficult.
Much work remains to be done across the sector, particularly in recruiting women from underrepresented geographies and empowering women into senior staff categories throughout International Organisations.
Leaders from around the world and institutions themselves are urging organisations to advance their efforts to adequately reflect the diverse communities and geographies they serve.
During this event, candidates will be able to connect directly with these international employers and explore career opportunities in diverse locations around the world.
