Recap – Global Careers for Women 2017 – Celebrating Women working in International Organisations
The Global Careers for Women campaign in October 2017 encouraged professional females to make change happen.

The International System bears much responsibility to set the agenda and lead the way. Much work remains to be done across the sector, particularly in recruiting from the Global South and empowering women into senior staff categories from within, and importantly, from outside the sector.
- 2,311 – Total number of signups to the event
- 836 – Total number of candidates who attended the event
- 73% of candidates had a Master’s Degree, & 74% had 7+ years experience or more.
- 776 conversations took place at the event
Employers signed up to participate in the Global Careers for Women campiagn included – Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Central Bank (ECB), European Investment Bank (EIB), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and World Health Organization (WHO).
