Senior Officer, DCR

Position Purpose

Under the general technical supervision of the Head, DCR, the Senior Officer provides support in the processes related to the effective management of the compliance risks faced by the bank.

Key Functions and Responsibilities 

The Senior Officer assists with the following tasks:

  • KYC/integrity issues relating to the bank’s operations;
  • integrity and compliance-related requests from third parties;
  • requirements of the Bank’s Code of Conduct;
  • cross-border domiciliation-related requirements of operations;
  • internal and external investigations;
  • requirements of international regulations;
  • participating in investigations of internal and external fraud cases; 
  • training of staff on compliance risk- related issues;
  • drafting and updating rules for DCR;
  • review of rules of other units; 
  • performance of compliance reviews of the bank’s activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • First-level University degree or equivalent in law, finance, economics or risk management.
  • Professional qualification(s) such as certified AML expert, or certified Fraud Examiner, or certified Risk Manager or any equivalent certification.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the Compliance field at a major commercial bank or International Financial Institution.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in the above areas.
  • Knowledge of a member country language.
  • Working experience of at least 2 years in the Compliance field in the CIS countries.

Minimum Requirements for the Position

For a candidate to participate in the competitive selection for this position, s/he must meet at least the following minimum requirements:

Education: First-level University degree or equivalent in law, finance, economics or risk management; or a first-level University degree in any other area followed by a postgraduate degree in the above areas.  

Experience: At least 8 years of relevant working experience.
